Interview process was based mostly on behavioral type questions utilizing STAR format (situation, task, action, result). In my experience, this is pretty standard across the board so I was very well prepared with examples. The team in Santa Rosa I interviewed with was great and exceptional in my opinion. The agency I worked with wS excellent as well. An offer was made but ultimately I made the choice to decline based on a wide variety of professional and personal issues. I have since gotten promoted at my current company a couple times, and would recommend and welcome future opportunities at Medtronic.

Question 1
Which role would you prefer given the different function out there
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic in Sep 2023
Interview
Phone screen and quick followup interview with HM, then complete silence. After followup with recruiter, didn’t hear back. Just like many other interviewers have mentioned here, they were hyper responsive at the beginning, then ghosted. Says a lot about some internal processes and value on employees. Both HM and recruiter mentioned how “high pressure” the environment was, though with high rewards. But if the candidate experience is any preview of the disorganization and attitude, not a great encouragement to come onboard. I was lucky to have multiple offers at other companies who respected the hiring process, so did not recontact with the recruiter to see why no response. Be mindful of this company. They may be going through some rough tides…in perpetuity.
