Phone interview first followed by an in person interview with three people. Each person met with me separately as opposed to ganging up on me. The interviewers were all very professional and friendly. I obtained business cards during this time and sent thank you emails. Each of them responded to my thank you email. I was offered the position a few days later.

An HR representative contacted me, after few day of having applied, for a 10-15 min phone screen. I was scheduled for 2 one on one interviews and finally a product presentation over the phone.
Medtronic provides you with many resources to succeed during the interview process. Those resources are current reps that seat down with you and encourage you to ask them many questions. It is crucial to have many GOOD questions ready to show them how interest you are in the company and show them how much you want the job.
Very competitive but they make you feel comfortable the moment you enter the building.

Interview
Like many I applied through an employee referral. The whole process turned into a 5+ month marathon with 12 interviews in total. Many of the interviews were scheduled last minute so be prepared to drop everything and run.
After months and months of back and forth contact, the position I had been interviewing for was dissolved. The real kicker is, no one had the decency to tell me this directly which thought was rather unprofessional.
