I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Medtronic (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
The interview process was okay. They no longer do a test. It is now only 2 interviews. The interview that I took was good and made me think. I liked the interview due to the interviewers telling me their stories of how they see Medtronic and telling me the career advances that are available and they set real expectations. Nothing that is out of your reach.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic
Interview
Very long and lots of interviews with several different managers and even employees you will be working with. Phone, Skype, face to face, and shadows. Looking for consistency so don't try and BS your way through it. They want honesty and integrity. Be prepared to give a mock sale presentation and be on your toes for tricky questions.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Medtronic (Sydney) in Jun 2011
Interview
There was a series of three interviews with Medtronic and the recruiter. Usually Medtronic do not use recruiters as they have their own internal HR department. There was a series of three interviews, the first with a recruiter and the second two with Medtroic. The first with the sales manager and the third with senior (department head) management. The process was stock standard however the people were extremely relaxed and quite hilarious actually (unfortunately these people have since left).
