company found my profile on linked-in, and sought me out for my experience, conducted phone interview, and explored opportunity with recruiter, it was the only level of interviews I participated in. After a lenghty discussion with the recruiter, I declined to proceed further as the job function and location was not desireable.

Hired through a placement agency. Once screened there was an onsite interview with the local manager and employees. I worked for one month as a temporary and then was offered a regular full-time position.
