Phone screen, then interview with District Manager, then final interview with DM and his manager. Follow up was pretty quick, found out in 3-4 days. Basic interview with behavioral type questions, not as many as I expected.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Medtronic
Interview
It all depends on your related skills and if you know someone in the company. It can be a lengthy process depending on how soon the position need to be filled. Typically there will be a manager interview and possibly a panel interview. Not difficult, usual behavioral questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Medtronic in Aug 2008
Interview
I had a courtesy interview. There was no specific position open. I interviewed with the local rep in the area along with the regional manager. I was asked mainly about my most recent employer and why I am interested in Medtronic. Also, I was questioned as to if I was open to re-location. I explained that I was open to travel but not re-location. I was later told that I came across favorably during the interview process but my unwillingness to re-locate eliminate my consideration.
