I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meltwater (Edinburgh, Schottland) in Aug 2016
Interview
Sent CV online, then had a phone interview. Following this I was invited to a networking drinks event at their offices to find out about Meltwater and to meet employees and other candidates. We were encouraged to speak to as many people as possible, have a glass of wine, and make an impression. I was then invited to an assessment centre, we had to each stand up in front of everyone in the boardroom and present ourselves plus some details about us, we then had to have a short debate, and then give a group presentation about how we thought the Meltwater service could be used by a company that was currently in the news, and finally give an elevator pitch about something we were passionate about.
I was invited to the final interview which was an hour long chat with the Area director and two sales manager, the office Managing Director and two others.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about strengths and weaknesses in the Interview, and went through my CV. They wanted to know what type of person I was, and what sort of tasks I was interested, why Meltwater, where did I see myself in five years, what sort of manager I thought I would make.
made it past the screening, learned from hiring manager they expect 150 dials per day, which is insane. you are a full cycle rep, how are you supposed to run any demos and close any deals if you are dialling 150 times per day. Not to mention the base pay is trash. what a joke.

Interview
Very kind and supportive team! However, I felt that the interviewer was not quite engaged from the beginning. Overall, great experience and enjoyed the process. The interview left me feeling excited about the opportunity and what it would be like to work at the company!

Interview
HR Screen: 30 minutes
Panel Interview: 60 minutes
Friendly team. Mock sales interview for the panel. Clear about expectations (need to hustle in this role, not a chill 9-5). Asked a mix of behavioural questions and motivation questions.
