Most expensive interview ever Although the job title includes the word international most of the candidates were from the UK which is already discouraging since it's obvious is easier to hire national candidates (Brexit alert). The interview consists of a panel interview with different managers in which they make you media-savvy business questions and put you in a role-play scenario. During the prior skype call the person in charge of the hiring process (seems they don't have a HR department) clearly stated that if I decided to fly to Cardiff for the personal interview they would reimburse me for the flight tickets. Of course, they excused themselves that all had been a misunderstanding and unfortunately I would have to deal with all the costs by myself. However, thanks to Meltwater I learnt a valuable lesson. Don't trust what people say even if the seem to be working in a established and 'international' company unless they write it down. Shortly after I got a job at a real international company, oh and guess what? They paid for both accommodation and flights, they understand that candidates don't go on a holiday ;)
