Applied online, received an automated generic email to schedule a quick 15 minute call for screening. The fact that you need to put your city and phone number along with your name in the subject of the call tells you how robotic the whole experience is. On the day of the call she never called me and when I emailed, days later received a response saying she was overwhelmed and asked me to reschedule. I ignored it at this point
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meltwater (São Paulo, ) in Nov 2018
Interview
1- Open House - When Meltwater invites around 30 people over to the office to explain more about the company (beer and snacks included).
2- Group interview - Around 9 people are selected to the group stage, where these candidates will learn *even more* about the company, divide in groups, interact, present themselves and have a debate.
3 - Individual interviews - For candidates who were approved on the Group Stage, additional individual interviews are held later the same day.
4- Job Offer - For those approved after individual interviews.
Too many steps and too many rodeos in hiring process....Meltwater says they hire only entry level professionals and they should work their way up...it kinda makes sense, but this also shields them from hiring top talent that are engaged in other companies.

Interview
Initial call with recruiter. Set up time in office to meet managers. No word from the recruiter after that in regard to any questions about the interview. No reception at office. Met with managers. 1 great manager, 1 entitled manager looking at phone and answering texts throughout interview.
