I originally applied for the Client Success Account Manager position. The first phone call was very brief and the recruiter described the company and how the position I was applying for was being broken down into two different positions and that I would have the option to see which one better fit me (one was more sales and the other was more client relations). She then described the group interview process and gave me dates. I didn't hear from the recruiter for almost two weeks after she said she would send me a case study and a questionnaire. When I finally heard back she sent me a position overview for a position titled Growth Sales Executive, which was not something I had applied for or something that she had brought up. When I asked about salary earnings for this position she only provided the target OTE. When I went in for an interview, I sat with two members of upper level management who discussed their overall experience and asked me questions about my experience and why Meltwater. I was then invited to a group interview which I could not attend due to a prior commitment so another interview was scheduled with another manager. When I went in for my second interview he brought up the Client Success Representative position, which was confusing because that was not what I was under the impression I was applying for. He advised that from my resume he thought that would be a better fit. This position had a much lower OTE than the growth sales executive position. I got an offer but ultimately declined because of the very disorganized and misleading interview process.

Their interview process went smoothly and was very cordial. Although we were ultimately not the best fit, I enjoyed talking to the interviewer. Depending on the position, I would still consider another position at meltwater that fits better with my skillset.
