I applied online. I interviewed at Meltwater (Wien)
Interview
Intensive Hiring Process:
- First - touch/ impression Call (be prepared to be called during day-time without prior notice - this is also a stress test, which you can govern easily, just be prepared)
- longer Call (optional - know your CV, know what the company does, prepare)
- Assessment Center (here are many questions that are asked, be proactive, attentive, smile and listen to instructions - everyone is watching everything)
- Next round 1 on 1 (its alright to be nervous, be prepared for a mock sales call where you need to get through and sell the product under specific deadline circumstances: like, its end of day and you need to sell today, come up with a good reason and use consultative sales approach)
- You'll be informed in 2-3 days if you are in or out
The interview had about 3 rounds. First was a call with the recruiter, then there was a panel interview with about 3 senior team leaders. Last was a one on one with director.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meltwater
Interview
It was a three-step process that began with two 1-on-1 interviews with hiring managers. These they ask basic questions about who you are and what you're looking for. The final interview is a group interview where you are asked to do an elevator pitch as well as work in groups to present a product to the meltwater team.
- Group interview: everyone needs to prepare a case prior to the interview. But not everyone has the chance to present. Need to convince the other teammates and present only 1 case as a group.
- Elevator pitch
- Final interview: cold call mock-up with the interviewers > feedback > cold call again until the interviews are satisfied/see progress
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
mostly based on previous experiences.
the cold call feedback part can be pretty harsh, but guess interviewers wanna see if one can react&improve quickly.
