I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meltwater (Budapest) in Jun 2024
Interview
Standard interview through Google Meet, as it's mostly a backend job, we were focusing on Java/Spring.
I had two interviews, one with the tech guy, my future tech lead, talking about technical stuff - this was in Hungarian.
The second one was the "HR" part, everything that's not dry programming, but the persons. I could ask questions as well, which is (sadly) not standard everywhere. We were talking in English, as the team is international, but I was informed about it beforehands, so it was not a surprise.
