On the phone interview for around 30 minutes. Standard phone interview, talking mostly about yourself and what you have done. Also needed to talk about what Meltwater does. Basically it seemed like the interview was there to get you talking to understand how you will come across to clients if you got the job.
Second stage was a group interview/mingle session. This is where their interview process goes downhill. You basically have to fight for time to talk with each staff member to make sure you get seen and heard. Everyone is cutting people off and trying to make sure they grab attention. It doesn't give a real representation of each person.
Third stage was another more formal group interview. You get a few minutes to talk about yourself, achievements, passion and then a little case study. Once again, you can't tell much about a person from a very brief summary of what they have done so far and who can tell the best jokes.
They finished with telling us they will let us know within an hour if we made it through to the afternoon session. Over 2 hours later the call finally came through.
Not the best interview experience, unless you like to battle 15 other people within a room to grab attention and have a good conversation with the 5 staff members who were interviewing.
