Meraki Demand Planner interview questions

Received the call to setup interview within two days of applying online. The interviewer called 2 hours before the agreed time to say it is too late for them to conduct the interview and wished to rain-check, which I agreed to. During the call the interviewer mentioned upfront that they would like to ask administrative questions, however the only conversation we had was about salary expectations and compensation. No behavioral questions. The salary was South to what the regional average - based on my research on BLS, Glassdoor, LinkedIn salary and talking with similarly situated employees and thus I asked for a fair value. They said they would circle back within a week but didn't. I followed up after 2 weeks and they said they've already filled the position, adding the email didn't reach to me regarding the rejection of application. Cisco Meraki is an established company and I'd wish the process could have been broader, systematic and two-ways.
