I applied online. I interviewed at Meraki (South San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process consisted of 5 rounds, 4 of which were coding interviews. The coding is not leetcode but if their own style. I didn't find any experience during my prep that's why I am writing this review for others.
Had a chat with the recruiter and she explained me about the 1st round. 1st round was initial screening, in which the longest prefix match question was asked. I solved this and moved to virtual onsite.
In virtual onsite there were 4 rounds. 1st was converting a pallette image to rgb fomat. Code in this round needs to be written in C. In 2nd round they gave a long piece of code asked to implement 2 functions in C++. 3rd round system design (HLD and psuedo code).
I solved all the questions in all 3 rounds(took some help in 1st round, since I haven't done coding in C and never read an image byte by byte). The recruiter told me initially that I will not be asked questions related to networking but In the final round HM started shooting questions on networking. I was able to answer few of them and then the HM behaviour told me the result there itself.
If networking was this important they should have screened in the 1st round itself and not wasted my entire day with virtual onsite.
Definitely not applying to this company again.
The only positive thing was my experience with the recruiter.
WASTE OF TIME!!

Question 1
no leetcode questions. recruiter will guide you on what kind of questions will be asked, so nothing much can be prepared in advance
Phone screen and then one hour technical pair coding interview, and then virtual onsite. Interesting coding challenge for the one hour technical, did prefixed matching for IP addresses. Choice of using c or c++.
