I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Meraki (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
I did an initial phone interview. During my call I was asked about my background at my previous positions, and the questions focused heavily on my sales process at those roles (how did I acquire my prospects/leads? how long was my sales cycle and close rate?). I was also asked what I knew about the company and he mentioned one product of theirs in particular but can't recall which.
After the interview, I was contacted by the recruiter who arranged the interview to discuss how things went. I was pretty disappointed by what I found. The person I interviewed with completely misrepresented me to my recruiter. He told my recruiter I told him I was fired (I was laid-off and given a rave review by both the president of the company and my VP of Sales on LinkedIn). He said I had no clue what they sold (upon replying to this question his answer was, "Yes, you're exactly right.") and he said some other minor things which were also untrue. I was shocked and wondered if he had the wrong person in mind when he talked to my recruiter. In any case I decided that this wasn't the type of company I'd want to work for anyway. I got the sense that the person interviewing me got into his role as a sales manager by being a great sales rep and a lot of companies don't understand that a great sales rep doesn't necessarily translate into a great sales manager.

Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Basic questions about my life and where I am going.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meraki
Interview
Appalling interview process with Meraki. First interview with the recruiter then I had an initial conversation with the Regional Sales Manager which went pretty well. At the end of the call I have been told they will provide me with an update within the next days to schedule the next step. But none of that happened and I didn't get any feedback either positive or negative which is quite rude and unprofessional.
