Hiring process is 5 interviews (plus an email/communication test)
Interviews
1) Initial interview with recruiter.(30min) Basic questions like what is dhcp, arp, STP, etc
2) First Technical Interview (1 hour)
- router on a stick (with a dhcp server on a different vlan)
- find out why pc1 can't connect out to the internet
(big hint - check cabling end-to-end, need frame relay on the router, ip helper)
3) Email communication test (not being monitored - can be done at your leisure)
- testing your email soft skills with a scenario from a client.
4) Second Technical Interview (1 hour)
- there was a total of 4 layer 2 switches and a single router.
- find out why pc1 can't connect out to the internet.
(big hint - STP was disabled, and vlan mismatch between switches)
5) Two soft communication interviews (with 2 different managers - 30min each)
- how do you handle working with a disagreeable person
- describe a difficult task and described how you completed it.
