Quantitative Analysis
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
The recruiter was very helpful and provided a lot of initial materials for preparation and was very transparent about the process. However, during the next scheduled interview call the interviewer did not show up.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta in Jul 2021
Interview
First was initial general phone screening. Next round was a product sense interview about one of their products. Final round was the virtual onsite: live coding (SQL), and three rounds of very open-ended product sense questions. One of those final round interviews was not a great experience - felt like I was having to guess what the interviewer was thinking rather than structuring my own thoughts around the initial problem presented.
