Position: ME Summer Intern at FB Connectivity Lab
1st Interview: Phone screen going over projects on my resume. It went well.
1-2 weeks later, 2nd Interview: (with engineering manager) Little questions about my my resume or accomplishments except for GPA. Then I was asked 6 questions, 2 in physics, 2 in math, and 2 coding- questions you can find in some "Cracking the Interview" book. Keep in mind this was an ME position, and the job listing outlined skills such as CAD and drafting. I was asked nothing related though that is obviously where I excel. I didn't do well answering the questions (maybe 2 were ok) and I heard back 1 month later that I didn't get the offer.
Understandable that Facebook had to weed out thousands of applicants, but this method is absolutely unfair. Only positives were that my interviewer was polite and offered to guide me through the harder questions.
