I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Jan 2021
Interview
I interviewed 6x - with the same person twice. Everyone was very nice. They all had these specific interview questions for each one that HAD to be asked which took the personality/conversation out of the interviews. It made it pretty robotic. Then they had to take notes during what I was saying so they could all discuss later. Probably if these are in person and not over zoom maybe it doesn't come off as weird? Not sure. I thought I had a good rapport with the person to who I would directly report too but they decided to pass. They did give feedback on the interview to my recruiter which was very helpful.

Question 1
Give me an example of a time that you prioritized...
Give me a time when you dealt with a difficult situation at work? What was the outcome?
They had follow ups for each of these too related to the theme of the interview.
Pleasant and quick! The questions focused mainly on XFN coordination and I needed to be able to talk about my past projects in details, and what went wrong. Be prepared to talk a lot about your communication, how you'd tailor it to different groups, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta in Aug 2025
Interview
30 min HR Screen phone call followed by a 45 hiring manager virtual zoom interview and then finally a full loop which consisted of 5 45 minute virtual zoom interviews.

Question 1
All interviewers asked “tell me about a time” questions and “why meta?”
You feel like a number because no one in the interview process remembers anything about you. 3 recruiters interacted with me and none of them stayed with the org, just passed me to the next person in a 3 week span.
