I applied online. I interviewed at Meta in Aug 2022
Interview
It was a 5 round interviews. 2 rounds are technical, 1 round system design, 1 round theoretical interview, 1 round behavior. One technical question is tedious. The idea is not hard but the implementation needs a lot of tricks. The interviewer was not friendly. I felt like herself even didn't know the best approach. The system round was standard, but apparently the interview didn't like to think outside of box. He only wanted to hear standard answer. The theoretical round is ridiculous. I expected a deep and math-oriented discussion, but the interview only asked me to state my knowledge on RNN and CNN, which has nothing to do with any math at all... I didn't learn anything new in the interview. Very disappointing.

Question 1
In the system design round, the question was to design a pipeline of pushing ad on a youtube like platform.
Talked to a requirer and he asked me some technical questions and also some questions about my background. He scheduled the first coding interview. the interviewer was very nice and the interview went smoothly. He helped me a couple time when I got stock with the medium question.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Jun 2022
Interview
I was nervous for my interviews at Meta, but I was also excited to learn more about the company and the role. I had four interviews in total, each with a different engineer. The interviews covered a wide range of topics, including my experience with machine learning, my problem-solving skills, and my ability to work independently and as part of a team. I felt like I did well in the interviews, and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to join the Meta team.
