I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Mar 2022
Interview
First a 15 min screening call with recruiter, followed by 45 min manager interview, followed by 5 hr interview with various team members, which can be split into two days. They give you a lot of resources to do well in the interview. Knowledge of their products is good but did not come up much directly in my interview.

Question 1
Lots of design questions, somehow ridiculous. Some interviewers were aggressive and not friendly. Lack of diversity was obvious in the hiring team. In my opinion, it was a big waste of my time, and their AR/VR team do not really know what they are looking for, and lack of direction was clear, and this is evident by 50% stock plunge in Meta stock.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (Washington, DC) in Oct 2021
Interview
If you are a minority(colored) you will not get the offer. Regardless if you do good or not, they give benefit of not being colored. Need to be either Asian or white to get the job.
