I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Oct 2021
Interview
It first starts with a Recruiter call. The recruiter wasn't professional - he didn't sound interested in my explanation or my past career or thoughts on UX other than my portfolio. I know there is another Portfolio review interview when I pass the recruiter call so I wasn't ready to go through my portfolio at all.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Select one project from your portfolio and walk me through it.
Had a phone call with the recruiter, took about 30 minutes. Asked the typical questions about yourself, your experiences and projects you have worked on. Then asked if you had any questions for the recruiter.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Aug 2021
Interview
Pretty straightforwards, it was not super clear what they were looking for however. Got rejected during behavioral interview once. Recruiters respond fast to inquiries. The interview was pretty standard. They asked about my past internship, they also asked about my preferred team and location early in the interview process.
