I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Mountain View, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Recruiter reached out via email asking if I was interested in their Product Growth team. Followed-up asking to schedule a call for the following week. First asked if I'd be open to moving north from Los Angeles.
Went over what the role looked like at Facebook for their four-person growth team, that it would eventually move into a Product Management role. Answered some product specific questions focused on features, engagement, and product metrics to determine logical approaches to testing and launching a product. Asked about SQL, and if I was comfortable taking an assessment that I agreed to.
Received an email at the end of the week stating they had moved on to other candidates but failed to provide feedback after making the initial reach out, whereas other companies do.
The interview was fast, took about 2-weeks, and only had issues with the quality of the call - my guess it was AirPods.
