Quick interviews. I believe that by the time I got to the final round, I'd done 6 interviews over the span of a month. Everyone was welcoming and made me feel good about my experience. If you get a chance to speak with anyone there, I'm sure you'll have a great experience!
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (San Jose, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
Exactly like everybody else has stated. My only advice is to not over-prepare. I got wrapped up in all the material out there, and rather than relying on my actual PM experience to answer the design/execution questions, I tried to shoehorn an answer into a framework that simply didn't fit.
If you have years of experience as a PM, use that to your advantage. It will make for a more fluid, thoughtful conversation.
I would have rated this a good interview experience, except there was a no-show from one of the interviewers. Apparently they left facebook the same day I was interviewing, but I ended up waiting for a quite a while in the hangout.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta in Mar 2021
Interview
The process is the same as described above.
A recruiter reached out via Linkedin, then a phone screen, basic about you info.
After that we scheduled the first round of interviews. I particularly had a repeat round on the execution. Fortunately I passed and then second round of interviews. One product sense, one execution and 2 leadership and drive.
A week later I got a call from my recruiter and I was approved! Next step is to match with a team and begin! Very thrilled.
