I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta in Jul 2020
Interview
Full disclaimer: I am not a fan of Facebook and I was not looking for a job with them. But! I was contacted by their recruiter who convinced me about "the exciting changes that are happening in the company", so I decided to go through their interview process, at least out of curiosity.
The recruiting team was very well-organized and helpful. They encourage you to watch their prep mock interviews, and those interviews looked very engaging and fun.
The entire process consisted of 3 rounds: 1) Product Sense 2) Execution 3) Leadership
The actual interviews were very different from the mocks.
My first interviewer was a different person from the one scheduled. She was also tired, mildly irritated and borderline depressed which made me question the company's culture.
The second round was with someone who didn't even show up on camera, so I was just communicating with my own visage while hearing his voice.
I was later informed that I didn't make it to the third round and I was happy that this bizarre experience was over.
