had two rounds: was asked an algorithms/leetcode question (45 minutes). after passing the first round, the second round was the next day (interviewed at school). was able to provide a working solution for the first round question ( a little shaky on the follow-up "improvements" to the algorithm i got) but wasn't able to do too well on the second round question
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
first round: Set Matrix Zeroes from leetcode
second round: Max Consecutive Ones III from leetcode
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
I interviewed on February 16, 2021, for the London office. It was a 45 minutes interview online on codepad. First 2 minutes are an introduction of ourselves between the interviewer and myself. Then he asked me 2 questions. He asked me two questions. The first was easier but the second was harder and needed some time to grasp. I ran out of time at the end that I couldn't finish the second question. Tip: you should be fast and efficient.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The first question was about lists and finding closest points in the xy plane to the origin.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Nov 2020
Interview
very comfortable interview process. I had 2 phone interviews. Both were algorithm based. each interview had 2 questions to be solved in around 15 mins each. The interviewer provided hints in case i was missing something
