I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Microsoft (Tel Aviv-Yafo)
Interview
a friend recommended, and that's how I got the interview. The interviewers were pretty nice, and tried to help me when I didn't have a clue. Nice facilities, nice atmosphere, looking forward the next stage.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Microsoft (Neu-Delhi) in Aug 2017
Interview
There were 3 questions which were very easy and time was 1:15 hrs. Those who have done all 3 were called for the next round, out of which only 7 students were called. Dont know what was their criteria for selection when many have done 3.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Microsoft (Austin, TX) in Mar 2016
Interview
I was emailed by a recruiter. They emailed me about a week before the scheduled interview. Went in to an on-campus interview. The night before the interview, they set up an optional "getting to know us" thing. It was a little awkward seeing so many other people there but it was nice having the chance to get to know the people interviewing me. The person interviewing me was really nice. I did not prepare before hand so it did not go well. He had me write code on a paper, no white board. I would like another chance with the company in the future. Also there were about 15 other candidates waiting in the other room.
The overall experience was good.
