Interview
First OA 3 questions. Then Virtual Onsite.
Very inexperienced interviewers. Not only inexperienced in interviewing, also inexperienced as software engineers too, who can not follow what you do. OOP design with 13 rules to follow in 30 minutes. And the interviewer does not know much about best practice of given scenario.
In coding session you have to write test cases too. An easy question and a follow up with O(n+m) sorting.

Totally crappy OOP without matching any design pattern, 12 rules with millions of ways to implement in 30 minutes. It is like a joke.
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Melbourne)

45 mins technical interview with a member of their San fran team. Very relaxed and informal but questions were focused and lots of follow ups. Easy to schedule as was over video conferencing platform
Straightforward technical loop overall, with strong interviewers at every stage. I genuinely enjoyed the in-depth conversations around technical challenges and algorithmic problem-solving — the entire process felt well-structured and genuinely engaging.
