It was the most hands-on and responsive interview process. I never felt left in the dark, just holding my breath. Like most start-ups, they get to your resumes much quicker and can give you and yes or no within a week or two. I sent out 20 applications using BuiltinLa and Miro was one of them. I had an initial screening with Liane and she was such a breath of fresh air. When I started applying for jobs this summer, the first phone screening I had was by far the worst one of my entire life. She only said "mhm" and gave me awkward silences and did not want to talk to me AND couldn't fake it. Liane was talking to me like a person and I felt so comfortable. She facilitated an effective screen.
Monday: recruiter screening
Wednesday: Turned in assignment
Friday: got a positive response and scheduled an interview
Tuesday: Around 4 am PST met with Head of CSR and Team Lead (Perm)
Wed: Around 5 am PST met with Head of Success (Amsterdam)
Thursday: Around 5 am met with 2 CSR (Perm), met with Customer Ed. Manager and only CSR in LA office
Note: I'm the weirdo that used to wake up at 2-3 AM to hit the gym so it was a great time for me to meet everyone else, rather than waiting until nighttime when I would sleep around 7-8 PM.
Everything took two weeks and I was so grateful for it. I STILL get emails now rejecting me for jobs I applied to in the summer. Who has the time for that? I also loved that Liane was great at helping me set up everything the next day since I just wanted to know more and more about Miro.
