Had the initial interview with the recruiter it lasted well over the allotted time and seemed to go well. I was then sent a link to schedule time with the hiring manager… I chose a few times and didn’t get a response so I reached out twice over two weeks and never got a reply. Then I got an automated email thanking me for my time. I then replied again to the recruiter asking if the position was filled - still, no reply.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Miro (Amsterdam) in May 2022
Interview
Usual technical interviews starting with a recruiter screen. Recruiter was wonderful and provided with all information patiently. I got a feeling that this js a great company to work for.
Cosing round was good. A simple coding problem. Interviewers were very helpful when I was stuck.
Design round was terrible. The interviewer could not comprehend what I was trying to say and was trying to force his opinion. He wouldn't let me talk and just kept telling design was wrong. Very close minded interview for an open ended question.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Miro (Berlin) in May 2022
Interview
The interview process took place over approximately 3 weeks from the first screening interview.
It had 5 rounds: Screening, Technical Interview (on Hackerrank), System Design, Team Interview and finally Manager Interview. All in all, all of these rounds went very smoothly and all of the interviewers were very engaging.
The questions asked were about 2 main topics: previous experience and some questions about topics related to how you would handle problems specific to the Miro platform. Can't share specific details due to NDA but in my opinion all the questions were very relevant to what I expect the job to be.
