I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Miro (Amsterdam) in Aug 2020
Interview
The overall process was very good and communication was very quick from the HR during the whole process. It took 4 weeks from first interview to getting the offer. There were 5 rounds:
1. HR screening call (30m)
2. Coding challenge (home assignment). It took some time. There was a mandatory part and few optional.
3. Technical interview (1h): Focusing on technical knowledge and a bit on behavioral wrt how one handles issues.
4. Team interview (1h): Focusing on team culture and collaboration values. This round is with the team you will work with. Miro seems to have a strong focus on team culture and values which I liked.
5. Final round was behavioral wrt leadership and growth with the head of department.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q. How do handle conflict with your colleague?
Q. What is team culture for you?
Recruiter had no interest in having a call and did not ask me any relevant questions. Sounded like she read the questions of a list and that’s it. I was more than qualified for the position and did not put me through to the next round with the hiring manager.

Interview
This process took a month, and 12+ hours of time between multiple individual interviews and an in-depth QBR presentation to a panel. After a month of very positive interviews and presentations, Miro responded with a canned rejection response, offering zero feedback and showing zero concern for the amount of time invested by me as a candidate.
