I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Moody's (Bengaluru) in Jul 2016
Interview
This was through campus recruitment in Bangalore.
1. There was a test in the beginning which consisted of mainly finance and cost accounting questions (financial ratios and calculation of bep, etc.,)
2. I had two rounds of technical interviews which were mainly about understanding of financial concepts, financial statements, economy, etc.
3. Was called after 3 says to join.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Link between balance sheet and cash flow statement.
2. Treatment of profit/ loss on translation of financial statements from foreign to Indian currency.
3. Effect on inflation if interest rates are cut.
One behavioral, one technical. Nothing too bad or difficult. Mostly accounting or straight forward finance questions, but helps to be well spoken. Behavioral is like every other interview, no curveball questions for me.
Easy to pass if you know credits, feeling like the standards and requirements are not high. So good luck guys, they used to intake ppl with good background, but now…..
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Moody's in Aug 2022
Interview
HR process was smooth when setting up for the interview with hiring manager. However, interview with hiring manager was not as pleasant and reflected badly on the company. When unable to answer the technical questions posed, hiring manager passed comments that came off snobbish.
