The interview process was quick, clear and transparent. I had two phone interviews with ADR managers, then they got me my plane ticket to SF. Before the onsite interview, I had to complete a sales objection email exercise as well as an over-the-phone roleplay. Those were fun exercises and things I will incorporate when I hire salespeople in the future.
On site, I had lunch with 2 ADRs were we got to know each other in a casual setting. I was able to learn a ton about their sales culture and use it throughout the rest of the day.
Following lunch, I interviewed with the VP of sales and then the head of account development. All pretty standard questions.
After the onsite interview, they had verbally committed to offer me. Before sending the paperwork, they asked for my official transcript. With a 2.9 GPA, they said the CEO wouldn't sign off on it. Oh well.
In the end, I made lasting relationships with the people at the company and they are still helping me find a great role. The people at MuleSoft are genuine and incredibly talented. Go out of your way to build relationships with them and they will fight for you.
