The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I had a 45 minute phone interview, 2 hour long in-person office interview, take home test 2 part test, and then a final video chat interview with the VP of Sales. The entire process was extremely transparent and efficient--I've never experienced a more positive interviewing process. It's lengthy but definitely worth it to figure out the best fit for the company on both ends. Preparation and authenticity is key! I let them know that I had a few expiring offers and they did everything in their power to accommodate my timeline, going above and beyond.

Why Sales? What excites you about MuleSoft? Do you have a mentor? How would your mentor describe you in three words?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MuleSoft
Interview
Very unprofessional internal recruiting team.
I was referred to this position and had a phone screen with a recruiter. Was supposed to go for 15 minutes but did not even go for that long, she was "in a rush" despite us scheduling that time. Tells me she will "chat with the hiring team" about the application and then get back to me.
Get email later on in the day about them moving on to other candidates, ask for feedback and get nothing. Overall, a very unprofessional experience and something you would not expect from a company acquired by Salesforce.
Reach out to a hiring manager in the city I was applying for on LinkedIn, tells me he loves that I reached out and would love to get me started on the process. So apparently, there was no "hiring team" and the recruiter just flat out lied to me.
I tell the hiring manager about what happened just to maintain transparency, immediately get a rejection email. Either there was an accidental lack of communication in the company or I just dealt with a very dishonest recruiter.

Question 1
Tell me about your history starting from your college days.
I sincerely apologize for the experience you had, it's so counter to the experience we aim to provide! It looks like we had several miscommunications, which we certainly will aim to not have happen again. Thanks for your time, we appreciate your feedback.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Boston, MA) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process at MuleSoft is unlike most other companies because it really focuses on engagement on both sides. They want to make sure you are as enthusiastic/invested as they are! This translates to a multi-step interview process that moves pretty quickly and culminates with an on-site interview in their office. The on-site interview (although it requires a good amount of preparation) is the best part because you have the opportunity to meet all your potential future coworkers and really fall in love with the office atmosphere.
