I applied online. I interviewed at Munich Re (London, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
An online teams interview, where I was asked questions by two interviewers at the same time, really friendly environment and really good overall experience. Questions were not really difficult, there were questions that you had to use the STAR technique. I managed to pass to the assessment centre stage.

Question 1
How many lightbulbs are there in London? (not exact number needed, I assume they wanted to see you way of thinking mostly)

Interview
Not once do they test your experience or knowledge. They tell you to research the company and sector but ultimately you can pass without that knowledge. Received absolutely no feedback and a generic email on a Saturday as well despite the fact they pride themselves for “caring”. I agree with the other comments that they clearly are focused on the CVs.
Dear candidate,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
We regret to hear about your experience and take your concerns seriously. Munich Re aims to ensure a transparent recruitment process for all candidates. Whilst we strive for timely communication and constructive feedback, it seems we fell short in this case. We are continuously working to improve our processes and appreciate your insights.
We wish you all the best for your professional future.
Kind regards, Munich Re
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Munich Re (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
Really basic behavioral interview where they don’t even have your resume and rarely dive into your background. Then, after the "interview," where you barely have the chance to show any of your skills and abilities, you get ghosted without any response or feedback, even after a follow-up email.
I get the feeling they use a really soft filter before this initial behavioral interview and then apply a tougher CV filter afterward, because I can’t imagine anyone being rejected purely based on that interview. A complete waste of time and a show of disrespect for not even responding to emails.
