I applied online. I interviewed at NHS (Brighton, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
Great! Felt very at ease. The interviewer was extremely friendly and gave lots of information about the company before the interview started which relieved the need to ask questions at the end
Usually one interview, sometimes including a presentation. Questions focus on competencies and skills, alongside values and behaviours, assessing how candidates perform, think, and align with organisational expectations and culture. Each NHS organisation has a different vibe so research the individual organisation.

Question 1
Tell about about you time you managed a difficult stakeholder
Had a screening call, had a few questions about the role they were happy to answer. Decided it wasn’t what I was currently looking for currently but would come back in future if there was an opportunity with the right level of seniority.

Question 1
It was a general screening call just based on my CV and past experience
The interview will include competency- and scenario-based questions, alongside a few focused on your motivation for applying, what attracts you to the position, and the unique skills and perspective you would bring.
