The interview experience was highly positive and rewarding; although I didn’t ultimately receive an offer, the team was incredibly professional, welcoming, and engaging, making it a truly enriching opportunity for growth and learning.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Nov 2024
Interview
1. First round was screening round and then 3 rounds were scheduled in 2 days once screening round was cleared. It was mentioned first round was on AUTOSAR & functional safety, second round on C programming and third round on soft skills. But interviewers did not stick to this at all, all the interviewers asked everything. On the last round, instead of soft skills, he asked me on few OS concepts. I had mentioned that I have worked on OS topics in AUTOSAR for few months and I had a vast area of expertise other than OS. But interviewer had only worked on OS and did not know anything else. So he was expecting me to have gone through stack implementation and check the code till register level. First thing is that that’s too much expectation on someone who has worked on it only for few months compared to him who worked on only that for more than a decade, second thing is he was so arrogant and was not letting me explain anything. Arrogance was due to the fact that he is in NVIDIA, which was not at all expected. That’s so sad to see something like happening in NVIDIA. I think he did not select me because of his ego issues and arrogance. Anyway, I attended 4 technical rounds after which I did not get any response from HR too. HR people does not have basic common sense to intimate candidate that they have or they haven’t been selected, which is again so sad to see in such a big company too. One thing for sure, is that they look for strong fundamentals and ask basic questions.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was quite short. I applied on-campus. There was only one round of interviews- the questions were Leetcode easy-medium. They asked a lot of OS related questions. Basically, OS concepts mixed with C++ Concepts.
