It was basically summer research internship postion in ASIC & VLSI Design. It got university email about the opening through university carrier email group. The respective technical team forwarded my resume to HR and ask to arrange a phone interview. The phone interview was scheduled within two weeks. The overall process was very fast.

Not one single technical question. I was told they would not be making an offer because they did not think I could come up to speed fast enough.
