“Going into the NVIDIA interview, I expected it to be very challenging given the company’s reputation for cutting-edge hardware and software work. However, the experience turned out to be smooth and well-structured. The interviewers were professional, asked thoughtful but clear technical and scenario-based questions, and really focused on my hands-on skills in integration, validation, and embedded systems. What I appreciated most was that the discussion felt less like a grilling and more like a technical conversation — I was able to connect my past experiences in ADAS validation, ECU flashing, and diagnostics directly to NVIDIA’s hardware validation work. Overall, it felt comfortable and encouraging, and I left the interview with an even stronger interest in the role and respect for the company’s technical culture.”
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Bangalore Rural) in Jun 2025
Interview
This is not for one time. I got call from Nvidia 3 times. Only once HR was kind to let me know the feedback.
One time the position got cancelled after 5 round. Last time they scheduled 4th round and before interview they send me rejection mail. And HR was not picking phone.
Now in India, most of the interviewers come from body shopping companies and joined Nvidia at 2015 2016 timeframe. They don’t have proper experience. One interviewer blindly told my multiple gpu boot process answer is wrong and childish where Nvidia only use this tech. As a faang engineer we are Nvidia’s customer and using this tech.
Don’t take the interview seriously. Bcoz they are not serious at all.
I had two rounds of interviews with NVIDIA. The first round was for a managerial role and focused mainly on my resume. They emphasized the importance of intellectual honesty and having a “can-do” attitude. The discussion also touched on AI cloud services, with the expectation that I be familiar with NVIDIA’s software stack and related terminology.
For my next round with an architect, I created my own study plan covering GenAI with LLMs, basic concepts of CNNs, deep learning, CUDA, TensorRT, Kubernetes, and more. I was able to answer most of the questions and felt good about the interview. Unfortunately, I was not selected to move forward.
