The interviewer asked me to open a project and start writing TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS files to build a React app. Some of the main components were already there, but I had to manage the entire app logic and figure out how to structure and build the whole mini application on the spot. Honestly, it felt a bit overwhelming and unexpected—especially since I had focused my preparation on algorithm and coding questions, which are more common in interviews.
What made it more difficult was that the interviewer seemed distracted and busy with something else during the session. It didn’t really feel like a respectful or supportive environment for the candidate, which was disappointing.
