I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Mumbai) in Dec 2020
Interview
Coding interview followed by hr round
Questions asked were gradually difficult, revolved around data structures
Fairly easy, common sense would do the trick
Only one round of interview slightly long
Asked in detail about projects written on resume
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Implement a convolution kernel
Include padding and write the exact code
I had 4 phone interviews, 1 full-day interview(with 6 different people) and a final interview with the department director. It was a very long process due to Covid but the recruiter was very responsive and helpful.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about problem solving questions related to the area. They were almost no Leetcode style questions. Questions were about mostly parallel computing.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Apr 2020
Interview
one phone interview, two onsite interviews after that an HT interview. The interviewers were good I passed all the interviews with the HR one. After that, the recruit ghosted me for a month with a minimum update. One month letter got a rejection phone call and telling me to follow up after two to three months if anything new pops up. I followed up two months after and got ghosted again, so decided not to apply again. no expected from a big company such as Nvidia.
