Interview
It was a campus hire. 1 written round, 3 rounds of technical interview and One HR interview.
The written round consisted of 4 sections i.e. OS, DS, CPP and aptitude. The questions were very basic level questions. Technical rounds were based on DS, Algo, CPP etc. Little bit of OS concepts.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in Jan 2014

A 1.5 Month long process
3 phone screens - (30-45 mins each)
+ Phone interview 1 with the manager - Resume review, knowing my interests and very abstract technical discussions about the academic projects.
+ Phone interview 2 (Technical) - Programming questions (3)
+ Phone interview 3 (Technical) - Programming questions (2) + Questions based on my resume.
1 onsite - (6 interviews - 40-45 mins each)
+ Here, they will grill you. Lot of programming + design + conceptual questions.

Interview
It consisted of 4 rounds
1) Aptitude round including C,C++,Data Structures ,Os along with general aptitude approx.45 questions within 1 hour
2) technical Interview round mostly consist of writing algorithms and then few basic concept test questions. He/she may also see your mark sheets and other qualification details
3) HR interview consisted of simple questions as many of us expect. Few questions were Tell me about your interest,your hobbies, your strengths weakness,and few questions about projects
4) Senior Recruiter round. It was simple and basically tested our frame of mind. Few questions were why you want to work with NVIDIA. what if you don't get it. Likewise simple questions but be truthful and honest while answering.
