I had a rather perplexing experience recently. I received a call from someone I assumed was the HR, scheduling an interview at 4 PM, just an hour after the call, which seemed a bit rushed. Later, I discovered that the caller was actually an Associate Software QA Engineer. Despite this, I went ahead and answered her questions during what I thought was the interview. Afterward, I called her to inquire about the next steps, but she abruptly ended the call. When I tried again after 10 minutes, she mentioned sending my feedback to the team, leaving me puzzled. It seemed odd that someone other than HR was handling the process. The following day, I attempted to reach out again, but she didn't answer my calls. I'm left wondering if this is standard company procedure or if there's a different explanation for this unusual approach.
