I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I wasn't interviewed. I was randomly placed into a position that was not AT ALL related to my past experience or interests.
The background check went quickly, though.
I also received the offer pretty late (not until a couple weeks before my summer internship started)
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Cambridge, MA)
Interview
Wanted to know leadership experiences and general personality; Talked about why I was majoring in what I was majoring and general small talk - 45 minute interview process with no technical question; They followed up with an email saying that they were interested in me and what steps I had to take to say that I was interested as well

Asked me a question but did not give much information
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (El Segundo, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview process was enjoyable. I was referral to the company by a colleague at my school, and the interviewer was an alum as well. For the most part, the interview was behavioral with a few questions about the courses I was taking at school.
