I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Sunnyvale, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
HR contacted me to set up for an interview. There was plenty of time to prepare. Upon arrival, there was along wait to get visitor pass. I was glad that I got there early. The interview was a three persons panel interview, consisting of managers and peers. It was about 1-1/2 hours with several questions.
It was two rounds after applying - approximately one hour for each. The first round was with an HR manager and the hiring manager. The second interview was with a Senior Director level person in charge of the overall team.

Question 1
Why Northrop Grumman and why are you interested in this position?
Virtual initial interview panel via Teams followed by on-site in-person interview panel. Usually peers and an HR rep to ask "how do you handle difficult people, poor behavior etc." Round robin behaviorial based questions based on a script so each applicant answers the same questions.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to change strategy in an organization. What did you personally do to implement the change?
My interview was during the height of the COVID pandemic, so it was virtual. However, the same method is applied with in-person interviews. You are interviewed amongst a panel of employees consisting of HR, the hiring manager and one or two other members of the team.
