I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Bellevue, NE) in Nov 2010
Interview
I was first contacted by a recruiter. Then she briefly explained the job and its compensation then set up an interview for me.
The interviewers first described the job; what is it about? what is a daily work cycle? Then they asked about my background; what had I done so far? what did I do in my previous/current jobs/research position? No technical questions were asked.
Followed up by the recruiter, she said I did a good job in the interview and they would extend me an offer. No negotiation was done. The offer was given a few days after the interview.

I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Huntsville Park, AL)
Interview
Technical questions and behavioral questions (STAR formatting) with the normal what draws you to work for us. Microsoft Teams meeting with a panel to review answers. Took roughly 1 hour and it was a very straightforward and easily made process.
Formal, not too stressful. Ensures you understand the basics and thay you know what you're talking about as you may be getting interviewed by somebody that's technical at some point.
The interview process was fairly straightforward; I have applied in March 2026 and got an interview in April 2026. It was a video interview on Teams with two other team members, just under an hour.
