The hiring process was very streamlined, structured and easy for me, personally. The interview specifically was a bit hybrid compared to your traditional hiring process.
The recruiter reached out to me after I submitted a couple of resumes/applications and asked me about 10 minutes worth of common questions (ie: tell me about yourself, what is your experience, etc...). I was then pushed to get an interview.
The actual hiring manager I'd work for didn't interview me. It was an assigned hiring manager in a different state that interviewed me via video. It was very comfortable. The interviewer asked me about 25 quick one liner questions pertaining directly to the position I applied for basically just verifying I had the experience and also allow me to elaborate on each question. After the questions, it was just a normal conversation allowing me to ask 5-7 questions about the job/company. After 1 hour, it was concluded....he said on the phone at the end, "you definitely have all the qualifications, we have several project manager positions available, so wherever they see you fitting best will be considered. Expect to hear from recruiter/HR in the next 2 weeks".
Two days later, I was offered the exact job I interviewed for. A week later I was considered "hired". One month later I started working.
