I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman
Interview
Applied online, visited the facility, interviewed with manager, offered position, accepted position. All parties involved were very friendly and helpful. Management and HR truly care about their applicants and prospective employees.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Berkeley, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
It was very casual, with the Department and Section Managers asking brief questions concerning my chemical knowledge. But, I was a first-year college student, so it presumably changes for others with experience.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Layton, UT)
Interview
Met initial recruiter at a college campus job fair. Resume was sent up to the interviewers who contacted me for a face to face interview. Interviewers asked about college courses, major, relevant work, etc. A few days later I received a rejection notice AND a position offer. Had to call to see what was going on, apparently the rejection was an error. Started shortly after and loved every minute of that job.
