Interview
Had an initial HR phone screening, followed by a phone panel interview between the director of SW. The questions asked were based on the STAR method and it was basically past experiences and "give examples of..."
The one thing that struck me as odd was neither the HR person nor the panel had discussed a Start Date or Compensation amount. To me that sounds like they

I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in-person with the hiring managers. It was pretty much just a behavioral interview. There wasn't really any technical questions. It was over in 20 mins
I had multiple phone interviews with HR. I did not interview with the hiring manager. I first heard from the hiring manager a few weeks before starting the internship. The recruiter was my main point of contact throughout the process.
