I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman
Interview
The interview itself was very relaxed. I interviewed with a software engineer and a hiring manager. They asked questions about how I worked with teams and basic OOP concepts. However, it was several months before I received the offer. The HR was really slow, I had to call and ask about the results of interview before I was informed I actually received the position.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2017
Interview
Talked to recruiters a job fair and was set up with an interview that day. Very organized and efficient, but company culture seemed rigid and stressful. Questions weren't hard but were vague and not engaging.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you were faced with a difficult problem and how you solved it.
I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I wasn't interviewed. I was randomly placed into a position that was not AT ALL related to my past experience or interests.
The background check went quickly, though.
I also received the offer pretty late (not until a couple weeks before my summer internship started)
